LEGENDARY football manager Ian Holloway is coming to Ilminster.
The former Plymouth Argyle, Leicester City, Blackpool and Crystal Palace coach will be at The Shrubbery hotel to tell stories from his career on Friday, July 12.
‘An Evening With: Ian Holloway’ is being hosted by Ilminster Town FC.
A club spokesperson said: “Don’t miss out on what is set to be a great night!
“Doors open at 6.30pm, with Ian arriving from 7pm. There will be a two-course carvery dinner with a vegetarian option. The dress code is smart.
“Hear some tales from one of England's most amusing managers.”
Tickets are priced at £45, or groups of 10 can book a table for £400. A raffle will be held to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.
Tickets went on sale on Tuesday, June 3.
The manager is no stranger to Somerset: In January, he was spotted in a Bridgwater charity shop purchasing some “brilliant bargains”, including a Star Wars figure.
Staff at the St Margaret's Hospice shop said: “Our Bridgwater clothes team were excited to see a recognisable face on Saturday, Ian Holloway, who enjoyed his wonderful shopping experience with us!”
