Liberal Democrat candidate Adam Dance launched his campaign to win back the Yeovil seat last Tuesday.
With colleagues and supporters, Mr Dance gathered on the green at St John's Church, Yeovil, to launch his campaign before setting out to canvas across the constituency.
Mr Dance is calling for "A Fair Deal", including "an NHS which works for us all, and in particular, supports those most in need be they the elderly, the young or those with mental health concerns."
He's also calling for local business support "both those on the High Street and our national companies such as Leonardo."
Mr Dance also wants to "hold water companies to account for the state of our rivers and waterways."
The candidate said: "I have been knocking on doors across the constituency for many years. I have listened to and heard the concerns of many people.
"But over the past year there has been more and more about the state of our NHS, the rising costs across the board, and our struggling businesses. We need a new approach, both in Yeovil and at Westminster.
"We need change in this Constituency of Yeovil. But I can only deliver that change, and A Fair Deal we all need with your support on Thursday 4th July."
He encourages the public to make sure they're registered to vote, have a postal vote or appropriate ID for the polling station.
Also standing in the Yeovil consistency is: Reform UK's Mark Burdge, Conservative Marcus Fysh, Workers Party Of Britain's Nidal Shah, Labour's Rebecca Montacute and Green Party's Serena Wootton.
