A SOMERSET animal sanctuary has shared its updated opening hours.
Ferne Animal Sanctuary, in Chard, cares for abandoned or unwanted animals, and is dedicated to finding them loving forever homes.
A spokesperson from the sanctuary said: "Ferne Animal Sanctuary - updated opening hours.
"Please note the new schedule for visiting Ferne Animal Sanctuary.
"Five days per week, Thursday to Monday 10am-4pm with last entry at 3pm.
"Seasonally - Easter to October Half Term. With special visitor events on February Half Term and during December.
"Annual Pass Holders and Friends of Ferne can visit the sanctuary on any day except December 25 and 26 and January 1.
"Advance Day Tickets and Guided Tours can be booked for any day except December 25 and 26 and January 1.
"Creative Corner will be open in line with the visitor access above, so bring along the little ones! This change affects the Visitor Centre only, and our Conference room remains available all year round."
