A PERSON has been taken to hospital after a car "flipped over" on the A37 at Chilthorne Domer.
Police are currently at the scene and the A37 Ilchester Road is closed both ways.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Police are at the scene of a single-vehicle collision that has blocked the A37 Ilchester Road near the Halfway House Inn at Chilthorne Domer.
“Officers were called at 12.11pm on Thursday, March 14 after a blue Vauxhall Astra flipped over.
“Witnesses described seeing three men and a woman get out of the car and walk away towards Ilchester.
“Officers located four people. One went to hospital with injuries not currently believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“The road remains closed pending recovery of the vehicle.”
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 12.10pm on Thursday, March 14 to an incident near Chilthorne Domer.
"We sent a double-crewed land ambulance and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Yeovil District Hospital.”
The road was cleared at 2.10pm, Travel Somerset reported.
