POLICE took this dog into custody at the weekend and are now hunting for its owner.
Officers and Police Community Support Officers from the Wincanton and Somerset team have appealed to the public's help to trace the owner of the pooch, which was found in the Tintinhull area.
A spokesperson for South Somerset Neighbourhood Policing posted on Facebook: "We are trying to locate the owner of a missing dog from the Tintinhull area near Yeovil, which we are currently taking care of.
"If you are the owner or know who this belongs to, please call us on 101 quoting log 243 of January 28)."
