WORKS to Westminster Street in Yeovil have now finished.
In an attempt to give the street a more refreshed look, the council have installed wider natural stone paving and street planters, which could be of benefit to our local wildlife and pollinators.
This also acts as a way of making the area appear brighter and more welcoming to visitors.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from Somerset Council said: "Works to Westminster Street in Yeovil are now finished!
"This key gateway into the town centre is heavily used so we've installed new wider natural stone paving and street planters which as well as brightening up the area also provide a habitat for our pollinators.
"Why not take a seat on the new benches in this newly refreshed area."
