A NEW Donut Shop is set to open in Chard this week.
On Friday (April 21), the Donut Hut will be opening its doors to hungry residents.
There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the new business, which will serve a wide range of sweet treats.
Doors to the shop, which is located on 17 High Street, will open at 9am on the day.
Speaking on the store's Facebook page, a spokesperson describes the Donut Hut: "A place where everybody is welcome! Fresh Donuts every day! A very special and friendly shop!"
For residents that may have a vegetarian or vegan diet, there is plenty on offer, meaning that everyone can enjoy a delicious snack.
If you are anxious about leaving your dog outside, don't worry. Well-behaved pets are welcome.
