A MAN suffered a broken foot in a collision with a car that failed to stop after the incident.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision in Sherborne Road, Yeovil.
The victim, a man in his 50s, later underwent surgery for his injury.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said the collision involved a dark coloured Ford Focus on Sunday, October 16, at around 1.25pm.
The injured man had just got out of his van.
Police say the Ford Focus driver is described as a white man, in his 30s, with a black beard and medium-length black hair.
The force spokesperson said: "We would like to urge anyone who witnessed the incident, or have dash cam footage, to call us.
"If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5222249202, or complete our online appeals form."
