A CRAFT fair in South Petherton has raised £313 for the village hall.
The event took place on Saturday, November 5 at the David Hall and raised funds for the hall itself.
One of the organisers said: “We hold these events as fundraisers for the hall which need a lot of money to keep it maintained and heated.
“There were 16 tables paid for by individual crafters and the variety of their work was amazing.
“We are lucky to have such a range of talent in this part of Somerset. From glass, and pottery to knitting, crocheting, art and painting, and photography, the list is endless.
“The stage was full of a splendid array of woodwork from The Shed, a group of people who get together every Thursday to make wooden items for sale.
“Refreshments were available and the morning’s activities raised £313 for the hall. The stalls holders went home satisfied that their skill had brought them financial rewards too.”
