FIREFIGHTERS tackled a tractor fire in the Blackdown Hills this morning (Monday, November 7) - with a bucket of water.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service (DSFRS) control received a call to the farm vehicle on fire in Bishopswood shortly before 9am.
Two fire engines from Chard were sent to the incident along with a water bowser from Yeovil.
A DSFRS spokesperson said: "Once the first appliance was on the scene, they confirmed no further resources were required and crews were investigating the tractor to look for any signs of fire.
"Crews confirmed there was a small fire within the dashboard of the tractor.
The spokesperson added that crews extinguished the fire using a bucket of water, a thermal imaging camera and small tools.
The fire was confirmed as accidental.
