A Somerset woman who survived breast cancer held a coffee morning on Saturday to raise money for charity.
Carol Ansell raised more than £400 at her event which was held at All Saints Church in Martock.
The morning was organised in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Mrs Ansell said: "As a survivor of this heinous disease I am always looking for ways of giving back.
"I organised the coffee morning for Breast Cancer Now, which is a charity involved in very important research into preventing breast cancer, saving lives and supporting men and women to live well with the disease and beyond.
"It was a great success with about 50 people attending who enjoyed a cuppa, slice of homemade cake and good company. Thanks to their kindness and generosity I am able to send £410 to the charity.
"I would like to thank all the people who came and supported this event and those who very kindly made cakes. Thanks also to Rev Paul Fillery for allowing me to use All Saints Church, it is such a lovely space.
"Of course, the stars of the show have to be my merry band of helpers without them I could not have managed. So thank you Angela and Dave, Lynn Keyse, Jane Jones, Lynne Raddall, Jo Hubbard, Pauline Beavon and last but not least my long-suffering husband Eddie."
