LAST week the annual Ferne Dog Show returned for 2022 at the Ferne Animal Sanctuary in Wambrook, Chard.
Guests enjoyed a day filled with dogs and different food and drink stalls.
The main attraction for the show was the annual dog show which showcased a range of different obedience skills.
As well as that there was a variety of fun classes to choose from, ‘have-a-go’ agility, stalls, and delicious food.
The Sanctuary was also be open to the public for the day so many guests took the opportunity to go for a stroll down by the dragonfly pond and meet some of the 300 furry and feathered residents.
All proceeds went to Ferne Animal Sanctuary and afterwards they said: "It means that we can continue to care for unwanted, abandoned or abused animals, re-homing those we can and making sure those that can’t have a home for life with us.
"Thank you so much to all of our amazing supporters for joining us on the day, and congratulations to all of our winners.
"We had a fantastic time meeting our supporters and their four-legged friends, it really was a stiff competition."
Further attractions will be added soon so keep your eye on the Ferne Animal Sanctuary website or Facebook page.
