TRADERS and shoppers came together at Chard's Guildhall on Saturday for the town's Makers Market.
The market was held between 10am and 4pm and offered “specially selected products, all beautifully presented for a unique shopping experience”.
Local people were invited to “come and support your local independent businesses and artisans”.
Stallholders included Happy Bee Crafts, Shelden Glass, Jack and Josie Handmade Baby Items, Kiln Fused Glass, Jacqueline Riman Designs, Fire and Earth Crystals.
Chard Makers Market was organised by Enosis Events, a company that brings bespoke events to venues across the south west.
The company launched in 2011 by putting on the first wedding fair to be held within the Walled Gardens of Cannington on the edge of the Quantock Hills.
Enosis Events will return to Chard in November to host ‘Step into Christmas’ (November 19) and a ‘Christmas Cracker’ event (November 26).
You can see a full list of events scheduled for the Guildhall on Chard Town Council's website.
