AN Ilminster day spa and its director have been shortlisted in two categories of the Professional Beauty Awards 2022, which will be held in London in July. 

Transformations Hair, Beauty, Aesthetics & Day Spa has been shortlisted in the Boutique Salon of the Year category alongside five other businesses. 

Transformations director Kerry Hole-Stuart, who has over 20 years of industry experience, has been shortlisted in the Spa/Salon Leader of the Year category. 

Kerry and the team will travel to London on July 3 for an evening of glamour at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge for the award evening. 

The competition has been organised by Professional Beauty magazine. 

Kerry said: “To make it to the finals is a huge honour and I can only dream of how it would feel to win. 

“My team has super exceeded this year and this would be the ultimate reward for their hard work.”

To celebrate their success and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Transformations is holding a competition to give a makeover day valued at £300 to someone who deserves a treat.

Local people can nominate someone to receive the spa day by emailing the salon (info@transformations.org.uk) and explaining in fewer than 200 words why that person deserves the reward.

The winner will be announced on Saturday, June 4 on Transformation's social media channels.

Transformations will also celebrate the Jubilee with a £79 spa day offer to help people 'feel like a royal for the day' this month.

The salon celebrated the first anniversary of opening at its new North Barn premises at Eaglewood Park on the Dillington Estate last month (April 12).

It has also launched its new newsletter erlier in May, which contains hints and tips for looking after your hair and skin.
