THERE are several major roadworks across Somerset starting this week.
Today (Monday, January 31) see the start of two projects set to take four weeks (20 working days), and three due to be completed in three weeks.
The longest scheme starts on Tuesday in Bridgwater and will take 39 working days to finish.
MONDAY (January31).
Station Road, Castle Cary, new footway and resurfacing, 20 working days to complete.
New Road, Priddy, undertake earthworks job, 20 days.
Dunball Industrial Estate to Bristol Road, Dunball, various works, 15 days.
Windsor Hill Lane, Downside, drainage, 15 days.
Exeter Road, Sampford Arundel, drainage, 15 days.
Halesleigh Eoad, Bridgwater, resurfacing, five days.
Burnham Road, Highbridge, resurfacing, five days.
Higher Lodge via Willet to Willet Lodge, Elworthy drainage, five days.
TUESDAY, (February 1).
Luxborough Road, Bridgwater, various works, 39 days.
White House Lane, Edingworth, drainage, 17 days.
Ash Priors Common, Ash Priors, new gutters, three days.
WEDNESDAY, (February 2).
Bindon Lane to Witham Hill Farm, Witham Friary, patching works, three days.
Fosse Way, Lydford on Fosse, various works, three days.
