A CHARITY is welcoming the return of their annual black tie ball this year.
St Margaret's Hospice has announced that their fundraising event is set to take place on Friday, February 25 2022.
This year the ball will be held at Taunton School in their Densham Suite. There will be drinks on arrival, a three course dinner, coffee, petit fours and live music from the Haus Band.
Guests will also be able to enjoy using a photo-booth and taking part in an auction, with prizes such as sport memorabilia and a five-star dining experience.
Lem Cottrell, grants and major gifts manager at St Margaret’s Hospice, said: “We are thrilled to be bring back our annual Black-Tie Ball for 2022.
"This is a great opportunity for local businesses to network and have a fun while raising money for St Margaret’s Hospice.
"So, dust off your dancing shoes, and dig out your best sparkles for what’s set to be a truly wonderful evening.”
The black tie ball is sponsored by Nuffield Health and Western Provident Association (WPA).
Mandy Bridge, sales services and marketing manager at Nuffield Health, added: “Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital is one of the leading providers of private healthcare in the South West.
"We are proud to support this fantastic event. St Margret’s Hospice help patients, families and carers across Somerset facing life-limiting illness and is valued greatly by the local community.
"Now more than ever the support offered by the hospice is extremely important and I encourage as many of you as possible to buy your ticket and pledge your support.”
All proceeds from the event will go to St Margaret's Hospice to help them continue to support patients who are facing life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Phillip Arnold, regional business development Manager at WPA, said: “I have a long-standing relationship with St Margaret’s, having been involved since 2000 in various fundraising activities (including treks on the Great Wall of China and in the Himalayas) and then experiencing first-hand the amazing support given to my wife, Jan, who passed away at the Taunton hospice nearly four years ago.
"So, to be able to sponsor this important event is very special and personal to me.”
Tickets for the ball cost £60, and £600 for a table of ten.
