STAFF at a Somerset care home joined in a school fete for some late-summer fun.
Member sof the team at West Abbey in Yeovil were at Preston CofE Primary School's event to help create some fun games with a stall, including ‘splat the rat’ and ‘pirate treasure map hunt’, with the money raised being donated back to the school.
Helen Colaco, general manager at the home, said: “Taking part has been a huge amount of fun.
"I’m very glad to be able to do my bit to raise money for our community, also as a thank you for all they do for us as well.”
West Abbey raised a total of £36.50 from the games on the stall, which has been donated back to the school coffers.
