FIREFIGHTERS tackled a tractor fire yesterday afternoon (September 22).
Two fire engines from Yeovil and the water carrier and fire engine from Sherbourne attended the incident, which was in a field.
The tractor was 50% destroyed by the fire.
"Upon arrival crews confirmed the tractor was well alight in the field," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
"Fire crews used two hose reels jets and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
"All persons were accounted for and there were no injuries."
