UPDATE: Police appeal after man left in 'critical but stable' condition after A303 crash
TWO people were reported trapped in wreckage after a crash last night (September 17).
The incident occurred some time around 9.30pm at Tintinhull.
Firefighters from Yeovil and Martock were sent to the scene, a spokesperson for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said.
"Crews were requested by police to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles, where two persons were trapped," they said.
"On arrival, crews got to work with hydraulic cutting equipment to release the casualties.
"Police, ambulance and a doctor were also in attendance.
"Crews rescued one male casualty, and one female casualty self rescued.
"Crews made the vehicle and scene safe. Duty of care was left with the police."
