FIRE crews helped a person free themselves from a vehicle after a crash this afternoon.
Firefighters from Yeovil were sent to Mudford Road in the town at just before 3pm after a report of a road traffic collision.
"Crews reported a two-vehicle road traffic collision with one person still within the vehicle not physically trapped and was assisted to self extricate by crews," said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
"Fire crews made the vehicles safe while ambulance personnel assessed the casualties. Police were also requested to attend."
