TWO fire crews were sent to deal with a fire that started in a deep fat fryer this morning.
The incident, at a retail premises in Yeovil, was reported at just after 7.05am today (Friday).
Crews from Yeovil and Martock were sent to the scene.
"The building was evacuated, and crews entered the property with two breathing apparatus, foam, one hose reel jet, and a positive pressure fan," said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
"The fire was extinguished, electricity isolated, and the deep fat fryer removed to the open air."
No one was injured in the incident, they added.
