A BOY was assaulted in a play park in Martock by a group of teenagers.
The 15-year-old victim was harassed, pushed and kicked by the culprits in the play area in Bracey Road, Martock.
He suffered bruised ribs and a broken arm and needed hospital treatment following the incident last Thursday (June 10) at about 7pm.
Police, who are appealing for witnesses, say the offenders tried to steal their victim's bike after the attack.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We believe there were four male offenders, aged between 12 and 15 years old, who were riding bikes.
"We’d like to speak to anyone who saw this incident, or has information about who was involved.
"If you can help, please call us on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5221129346."
