MOTORISTS already facing disruption on a major road in Taunton are being advised of further roadworks in the area over the next fortnight.
Resurfacing work is scheduled in Kingston Road, Greenway Road and Clifton Terrace from today (Monday).
The scheme is due to take 10 working days.
The Rowbarton area where the streets are located has a number of temporary traffic lights in operation as workers upgrade am ageing lights system.
Minehead drivers are being advised of major roadworks starting in the town today.
And people heading from West Somerset to Taunton are being warned of a resurfacing scheme at Coggins Lane and Williton Road, at Combe Florey. Diversions are signposted.
Somerset County Council has issued a list of major projects across the county beginning this week.
MONDAY.
Brunel Way, Minehead: gas main connection, lasting 25 working days.
Vulcan Road, Minehead: gas main connection, 25 working days.
West End, Bruton, remove silt and debris, 15 working days.
Lightgate, South Petherton: water main connection, 13 working days.
Kingston Road, Greenway Road and Clifton Terrace, resurfacing work, 10 working days.
Coggins Lane and Williton Road, Combe Florey: resurfacing scheme, 10 working days.
Wembdon Road, Bridgwater: various works, seven working days.
Victoria Road, Bridgwater: various works, seven working days.
THURSDAY.
Rode Hill, Rode: resurfacing prep works, five working days.
FRIDAY.
Wembdon Road to Halesleigh Road, Bridgwater: various works, 20 working days.
