A GROUP in Yeovil spread a little cheer this month in celebration of National Flower Arranging Day.
Yeovil Flower Arrangers produced designs which bought joy to their neighbourhoods on May 7.
The National Association of Flower Arranging Societies (NAFAS) asked members of its affiliated Flower Arranging Clubs across the country to mark the day by displaying a floral design outside their homes, visible to passers by, to offer a little cheer and sign of hope.
Yeovil Flower Arrangers normally meet monthly at Holy Trinity Church, Lysander Road, Yeovil. Each month an experienced, qualified and talented flower arranger demonstrates their art producing several different designs which are then raffled. The group hopes to meet again face-to-face (rather than via Zoom) in September. For more details email anne.allen21@btinternet.com.
