A MAN from Frome was disqualified from driving for six months after he failed to report an accident and give his name or address.
Ben Grant, 21, of Singers Knoll in Frome, was also given 60 hours unpaid work and asked to pay £250 in compensation when he appeared at Yeovil Magistrates' Court last week.
He was also found guilty of with driving without due care and attention, driving without insurance and without the correct licence. But he was not given any separate penalties for these.
Grant pleaded guilty to all offences.
Andrei Condurache, 26, of Coombe Lane in Shepton Mallet, also appeared at Yeovil Magistrates' Court last week.
He was fined £120 for drink driving, and also had to pay a £34 victim surcharge, £85 in costs and was disqualified from driving for 14 months.
He pleaded guilty to the offence.
A woman from Crewkerne was also fined for drinking driving.
Elaine Shears, 49, of Middle Path in Crewkerne, was fined £207 and asked to pay compensation of £1000.
She was also disqualified from driving for 14 months and pleaded guilty to the offence.
Shears was also found guilty of driving without insurance or the correct licence, but no separate penalties were given.
Jamille Naimi, 36, of Rothley Road in Loughborough, was given a 12 months conditional discharge for assault by beating in Shepton Mallet.
He was asked to pay a £22 victim surcharge and £85 in costs. He pleaded guilty to the offence.
