A MAIN road in Somerset has re-opened after a fatal crash last night (April 22).
A 30-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, after a collision between a car and pedestrian at 11.30pm.

The road was closed between the roundabouts joining the A303 with the A358 (Horton Cross) and the A356 (South Petherton).
However, the recovery work has now finished and the road has re-opened.
"Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has Dash Cam footage, is asked to call 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5221085796," said a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police.
