FIREFIGHTERS tackled a vehicle fire in South Petherton last night (April 19).
One fire engine and an incident support vehicle from Martock attended the fire on West Street around 5.15pm.
The fire is believed to have been accidental.
"On arrival the vehicle was well alight, crews got to work with two breathing apparatus, one fog spike, 1 hose and a compressed air foam jet to extinguish the fire," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.
"The vehicle was 50 per cent damaged by fire, this is believed to have been accidental."
