ONE of the UK’s youngest WW - previously Weight Watchers - coaches is set to do a parachute jump after shedding two and a half stone.
Kayla Seward, 22, had always wanted to do a skydive, but believed she was too heavy to jump out of a plane.
Kayla, a student counsellor and alcohol addiction worker from Yeovil, signed up with WW at the age of 19 and trimmed down from 13 stone 7lbs to 11 stone.
After that her confidence soared and she's making the jump in July in aid of mental health charity Second Step.
She said: "I’ve always wanted to do a parachute jump, but felt too embarrassed.
"I thought I was too big and would look silly, but when I reached my goal weight, there was no reason not to."
Kayla, who went to Buckler’s Mead Academy in Yeovil, joined WW with her mum Jan, now 53 who also lost two stone on the programme, going from 12 stone to 10 stone.
She added: "I was stuck in a cycle of yo-yo crash dieting and got heavier as I went along.
"I realised I had to change my whole lifestyle and WW was a safe way to do that.
"It also gave me the support of others on the same journey through the live workshops.
"It wasn’t a quick fix, it was a lifestyle change and I was so impressed, I went on to become a coach because I wanted to help others.
"Even though I am at my goal weight, I still go to workshops as I get so much out of being part of the WW community."
