A MAN from South Petherton has been ordered to pay compensation and to comply with a curfew, after damaging a car.
Kallum Ford, 18, of West End Close, will be under a curfew for eight weeks with electronic monitoring, after pleading guilty to the offence.
He also pleaded guilty to sending a message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character.
He must also pay compensation of £154.25, a victim surcharge of £95 and £40 in costs.
A 19-year-old man from Norton St Philip has been fined after pleading guilty to assault in Frome.
Mason Blagdon, of Chatley Furlong, was fined £124, as well as being ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
A Yeovil woman was handed a driving ban after being caught drink driving.
Karen Elizabeth West, 48, of Eastland Road, pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol limit while driving, and she was handed a £120 fine, £34 victim surcharge and £300 in costs, as well as being disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.
She was also found guilty of failing to act in such a way as to prevent injury to a dog, and a community order was made.
