CREWS battled a garage fire for four hours last night (March 20).
The fire spread to a motorhome and two private cars.
Two fire engines (one from Wincanton and one from Mere) were called to the incident at around 7pm on Bayford Hill, Wincanton.
Soon after they arrived, two more fire engines from Gillingham and Castle Cary were sent.
They extinguished the fire at around 11pm.
"This was an external car garage on fire that spread to a motorhome and two private cars," a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said.
"The fire was extinguished using three main jets, two hose reel jets and four breathing apparatus.
"The fire also involved two Oxy-Acetylene and two Butane gas cylinders.
"The cause of the fire was accidental."
