A WOMAN doing her shopping in a Chard supermarket was grabbed round the neck and scratched on her face and neck.
Police investigating the attack in a store in Tapstone Road have publish an image from CCTV who they would like to speak to.
The victim, who is in her 20s, was assaulted on Sunday, January 10, between 3pm and 4pm after becoming involved in a confrontation with another woman.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "She was grabbed around the neck by the woman and sustained scratches to her face and neck.
"CCTV enquiries have been undertaken and we’re publishing a photograph of a woman who we wish to speak with and hope may be able to assist with our investigation."
The woman police wish to identity so they can speak to her is described as white, with dark hair and is shown wearing a black and white coat, plus a blue surgical mask.
