THERE was an oil leak last night (February 16) in a Somerset village.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue attended the incident in Horton, near Ilminster, at 4.10pm yesterday - and left at 8am this morning.
The leak has now been sorted.
"We put inflatable booms in the river which prevented the spread of oil," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.
"Two fire engines attended, plus an environment engine from Taunton. We worked closely with Wessex water and the leak has been sorted."
