CREWS from three fire stations attended a kitchen fire in a home in Tatworth this morning (Thursday).
The alarm was raised at around 11am and fire engines from Chard, Axminster and Ilminster were sent to the incident.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus tackled the fire.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "The kitchen itself suffered smoke damage and there was also slight smoke damage to the rest of the property.
"The cause of the fire was deemed to be accidental."
