WARNING: A yellow weather warning for ice remains in place across parts of Somerset
SOMERSET residents are urged to take care on local roads amid weather warnings for ice.
The yellow warning was issued by the Met Office yesterday (Wednesday, December 30) at 6pm and remains in place this morning until 11am.
Icy stretches are likely to form, particularly on untreated roads, roads, pavements and cycle paths, and residents are urged to take extra care to prevent injuries from falls.
The Met Office said there is still possibility of 'a little snow'
