SNOW could hit Somerset just two days before we are set to see in the New Year, the Met Office has warned.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow and ice which will be in place from 10am on December 30 to 6am on New Year's Eve (December 31).
Forecasters say there is 'a small chance of disruption from snow and ice' in the county on Wednesday and Thursday but it is set to be dry on New Year's Day (January 1, 2021)

A spokesperson for The Met Office said: "Wednesday and Thursday will see further showers, heavy and wintry at times.
"Drier for New Years' Day. Feeling cold, with further overnight patches of frost and ice."
The Met Office has warned people to expect disruption to bus and train services and travel on the roads.
They also warned that power cuts may occur which could have the potential to affect other services such as mobile phone coverage and there is a small chance of injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
