CONCERT pianist, Jonathan Delbridge, presents an exciting program of music for this years first Crewkerne Concert Series. He explores the development of the piano and the piano Sonata from Haydn to Liszt.
Although based in Somerset, Jonathan performs at a wide range of small and large venues from his own village church to the Royal Albert Hall and York Minster.
He is well known for his interesting and varied programmes ranging from major classical works to jazz standards. He likes to interact with the audience and give background information on the music performed.
Jonathan’s programme will begin with an early Sonata by Haydn and then move on to the famous Pathetique Sonata by Beethoven. One of the works Jonathan studied for his FRSM diploma was the Liszt Sonata in B minor and this virtuosic piece will feature in the second half of the evening.
Jonathan will be at Crewkerne Methodist Church this Friday (February 21) at 7pm. Tickets cost £10. To book visit wegottickets.com/CrewkerneConcertSeries or call 01460 75928.
