A POPULAR annual children’s exhibition returns this February to Ilminster Arts Centre for the ninth time.
Schools Go Visual opens on Monday, February 17 with artworks by pupils from Chard School, Greenfylde Church of England First School, Neroche Primary School, Swanmead School, Stanchester Academy, and St Mary & St Peter’s C of E Primary School and Shepton Beauchamp primary school.
Schools Go Visual will feature an array of different subject matter, styles and materials to provide a rich and rewarding visual experience - for exhibitors as well as visitors.
Every year visitors are impressed and humbled by the sheer creative energy that the young artists bring in an exhibition that is filled with colour and creativity, where there is no limit on the imagination, and where each work of art is treasured and appreciated in its own right.
Schools Go Visual is one of the Arts Centre’s most popular exhibitions and is timed to coincide with half-term, making it convenient for family and friends to visit.
Ilminster Arts Centre also has a well-stocked craft shop and bustling café, which offers a menu of light lunches, teas, coffees, cakes and children’s meals.
Schools Go Visual will be at the Ilminster Arts Centre from February 17 until 29.
The exhibition is free to enter.
