EMERGENCY services were called to a quiet street in Ilminster after a car burst into flames.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue were called to Herne Rise at around 3.50pm on Thursday (December 20) by a member of the public.
A spokesman said: "On arrival the incident commander confirmed that one car was well alight and quickly got crews to work with two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
"The incident was left safe and handed over to the vehicle owner."
