FIRE crews were called to deal with a combine harvester which had caught fire near Chard in the early hours of this morning (August 21).
Two crews from Chard attended the scene, at Windwhistle, and due to the location, a water bowser was also sent from Yeovil.
The fire, which was caused accidentally, was confirmed as being out at around 2am, having caused 80 per cent damage to the vehicle.
