CALLED in at the last minute, Graham Barrett did a sterling job as caller, introducing several interesting dances new to Chard Folk Dance Club. Not new to members are Ivor Hydes Music, always much enjoyed.
Attendance was again good, perhaps because gardening is virtually impossible at the moment! Many draw prizes were shared out, principal winners were John and Christine Ashford, Ena Stringer and Eva Stone.
There are just two more dances to go in this season, and this Thursday night (July 12), the Amycrofters Band will be joined by Eileen Nightingale at Combe St Nicholas Village Hall. A pleasant evening is once again ensured from 8pm.
