FIRE crews from Yeovil and Martock attended a kitchen fire in Martock on Tuesday.
The service was called to a report of an activating smoke alarm and smell of burning from the house in Vincent Way.
On arrival, the crews found no one was at the property, and after a forced entry, found a grill pan had been left unattended.
The fire service removed the grill pan and ventilated the property. There was minimal smoke damage to the kitchen.
