PATIENTS in Chard, Ilminster and Crewkerne suffering from heart rhythm disorders will now receive expert care thanks to the recruitment of a new type of nurse funded by the British Heart Foundation.
Jacqui Kemp & Janice Bailey, cardiac nurses with over 25 years experience between them, have been appointed as BHF arrhythmia nurse specialists at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton.
The new nurses will be funded and trained by BHF for three years and will take tailored university courses to expand their knowledge on cardiac rhythm disorders.
