Representing Hearing Dogs for the Deaf', Wayne Hurren was invited by members Nancy Cox and Aline Lendon to describe the work of that organisation. The flower of the month competition was won by Jean Frost and, while refreshments were served, members enjoyed a dog-themed quiz.
The meeting on July 16, Hats for all Occasions, ends over 40 years of WI meetings in the Methodist School Rooms. From September the venue will be the Minster Rooms on the first Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm.
