ILMINSTER'S young football talent scored some extra style points today (Thursday)thanks to the town's Spar store.
The Ilminster Youth Team, under seven squad, received a brand new kit thanks to sponsorship from the Spar's owner, Laurie McKinnon.
Laurie said: "It's great to see the kits - they look really good and I think the kids are all really pleased with them too.
"It's nice to be able to give something back to the community.
"It's the first time they've seen them today and I think they want to take them home."
Under seven's team manager, Paul Retter, said: "We rely heavily on sponsorship to keep going - If it wasn't for all the companies that sponsor the club, it wouldn't exist.
"The kits cost a lot to buy and print, and very we're grateful to Laurie for helping us out."
