BBC camera crews have been drawing glances from intrigued passers-by in Chard's Fore Street this afternoon (Wednesday, June 20).
They have been filming an episode of daytime business affairs programme Working Lunch inside and outside The Phoenix Hotel, to be screened on Friday at 12.30pm.
As reported in the News, Phoenix Hotel landlords Andy and Jenny Kenton are concerned the incoming smoking ban could damage trade after applying unsuccessfully for permission to put a canopy outside for smokers.
Andy and Jenny told Working Lunch of their plight and presenter Simon Gompertz visited the Phoenix today.
