ARTISTS in Chard, Ilminster and Crewkerne will have a chance to feature in a Summer Open Art Exhibition at the Meeting House Arts Centre in Ilminster.
The exhibit aims to celebrate the work of established and emerging artists working in the south west.
All kinds of work will be featured including painting, sculpture and mixed media work.
The exhibition is held each year in August and is open to all members of the community to submit work for display in the two galleries.
Exhibitors will also have the chance to bag a £100 prize for work judged best in show.
The judges will include the deputy mayor of Ilminster and local artist Ian Edwards.
Guests to the exhibition will also have a say in who wins the Visitors Choice prize of £25.
There will be an Opening Ceremony for the exhibition on Sunday August 5 from 6-8pm Application forms are available from the centre, call 01460-55783 for information.
