CHARD'S Manor Court Scout Group is looking for members and volunteers from the past to join the celebrations in the opening of their new headquarters.
The new site, including kitchen and changing facilities, is at Bonds Meadow, Chard, and is set to have its official opening on July 14.
Group founder and former head teacher of Manor Court Primary School, John Brice, will be opening the centre at 10.30am with sponsors and businesses who've helped with funding.
The group is then inviting anyone who has helped or been a part of the club to have a look at what they have achieved from 2.30-4.30pm.
Club secretary Val Tovey said: "We want as many people as possible to come and see the new club.
"There have been a lot of people who have helped out over the years and we would like to use this as a chance to thank them and showing them what we've achieved over the years."
