CHARD'S St Mary's Church will be host to the Yeovil Chamber Choir's midsummer concert on June 23.
It will be the fist time in the choir's 14-year history that it performs in Chard.
The concert will feature music from the 16th-20th centuries including music from Tallis and Byrd as well as more contemporary pieces by Poulenc and Britten.
Accompanying the Choir, and performing solo, will be Simon Clarkson, organist at Sherborne School for Girls.
The concert starts at 7.30pm. Tickets £8 from Hooked on Books or Harrimans in Chard's Holyrood Street, or Harrimans branch in Silver Street, Ilminster.
