A MAN has been charged with two accounts of burglary after being caught by a police dog handler near Combe St Nicholas.
Stephen Holcombe, 58 of Teal Close, Bridgwater, has been released on bail and is due to appear at Yeovil Magistrates Court on February 16.
Holcombe was arrested in relation to incidents of shed burglary in Clayhanger Lane, Wadeford, near Chard.
The arrest was announced by through the Avon and Somerset Police's South Somerset Twitter account.
The police said: "Good result 4 Team 2. Overnight shed burglar around Combe St Nicholas caught by Dog Handler after tracking. Charged with 2. ref:5216008408."
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw anything suspicious around the time, is asked to call 101 quoting crime reference number 5216008408.
