WADHAM School in Crewkerne held its annual presentation ceremony on Thursday (September 17, 2015) with the Minster in Ilminster this year’s venue for the night of celebration.
The evening marked the achievement of students across the school during the 2014-15 academic year.
Headteacher David Derbyshire said: “It gives us great pleasure to welcome back those Wadham students who have moved on to work, college and university.”
Mr Derbyshire welcomed everyone to the Minster and congratulated students on their efforts over the past year.
School chaplain Tracey Hallett gave an opening prayer while guest speaker Roy Pickett, who also presented the awards, was introduced by head student Joe Bateman.
There were a number of performances during the evening with Grace Dean and music teacher Kellie Simpson playing the flute duet Allegro by Beethoven.
Grace Truong performed Even Song by Betty Paret, while Jess Payne and Harry Dixon performed When There Was Me and You from the High School Musical.
